Vehicle FAQs:
Can I make my vehicle
faster?
All mopeds and scooters can be made to go faster by improving fuel, air
and exhaust flow. It should also be noted here that typically
performance kits void manufacturer warranties. They often also make
reliable engines less trustworthy, usually in proportion to the
extremeness of the modification.
Are these vehicles
legal in my state?
Vehicles sold on this site are legal in most states. Each state has
different state laws and requirement. Please check with your local
DMV/RMV for state specific requirements such as registration, age
requirements and helmet laws prior to any purchase. California
residents require C.A.R.B. approval (California Air Resolution Board)
to be legal in the state of California.
How much assembly is
required?
Scooters/Mopeds are 99% assembled (excluding detachable rear trunk
and 2 rear view mirrors which are not installed due
to packaging. Lance Vintage Scooter handlebar also not assembled due to
packaging). We prepare and install your
battery, perform our 20 Point Pre-Delivery Inspection
and necessary adjustments. We start up, test and tune
your scooter for riding conditions. Your warranty
is valid without proof of inspection from an outside certified
technician with this program. You will be able to enjoy your
new ride the minute it arrives at your door and you unpack the
box. No mechanical assemblies required.

How do I start my
Moped Scooter?
- Step 1:
Place scooter on parking stand (stand is located towards the rear of
scooter next to kick starter).
- Step 2:
Put key into ignition and turn it to the (on) position. Note: Make sure
kill switch is in the (on) position.
- Step 3:
Put unleaded gas into scooter (premium gas recommended).
Note: Make sure you have the fuel line connected to the carburetor. It
is located on the left side of the bike underneath the seat there is a
compartment that exposes the carburetor and what you are looking for
will be either a brass nub 3/4 of an inch long or a hollow nub. You may
not see it, but you should be able to feel it if you are standing on
the left side of the bike.
- Step 4:
Kick start scooter 6-7 times to build compression. Note: Do not pull on
throttle or it will flood the carburetor.
- Step 5:
Now use the electric start (hold in rear left brake lever and press
button on right that looks like lightning bolt). Hold for 3-4 seconds.
Note: Do not hold it in any longer than 5 seconds at a time or you will
burn the starter.
- Step 6:
Repeat sequence 6-7 times.
- Step 7:
Once started adjust idle speed if needed. Note: To adjust idle lift up
seat and in engine compartment on the top towards the farthest side of
the carburetor is a Gold Phillip screw attached onto a spring. Turn
clockwise until it is set to your preference.

What do I do if my

Unfortunately, lost packages and minor shipping damages may occur at
any time. Shipping damage and lost package claims must be submitted to
the shipping company directly. In order to ensure processing
of your claim, please do the following steps (these steps are not meant
to substitute the policies of the shipping company, they serve as a
guideline):
- Inspect your whole
vehicle before signing the delivery receipt. In case of any damages
presence, you must note the damages on the delivery receipt and have
the driver sign in acknowledgement. Failing to do so will void the
claim
- Save original packing
material for investigation by the shipping company.
- Take pictures of the
damaged boxes and vehicle.
- File shipping damage
claim with the shipping company and the merchandise will be inspected
by a representative from the shipping company.
- Notify Euromopeds.com
using our online shipping damage/loss form
Vehicle Registration FAQs:
How can I register my vehicle?
You will receive your MSO, Bill of Sale, and Invoice separately from
your vehicle. Please contact your local DMV/RMV for your
state’s policies on moped licensing and
registration. If your state requires your MSO to be
notarized, please contact
us immediately. There is a $20 fee for each notary which
includes the notary and odometer statement disclosure.
Why do you not ship
the MSO/MCO Title along with my vehicle?
Anyone who has access to a motor vehicle and a copy of the MSO can
legally title and register that vehicle under their name. Since all
orders are shipped via third party LTL trucking companies, and
unfortunately we have experienced lost shipments in the past, we choose
to send your MSO via mail after you receive your vehicle safely.
If you still have questions, please contact us.
We will respond within two business days.
